This hunting lease is leased and not available. Here's a breathtaking ranch for lease in Corson County SD. The Firesteel creek dissects this property for miles from South to North. The North side of this ranch sits just � mile off the junction of the Firesteel Creek, and the Grand River. This means that during the rut and gun seasons big bucks will also be traveling to this ranch from the Grand River drainage. Not that you need more deer, I believe the deer numbers on this property are in the several hundred range. There are probably more Whitetails than Mule Deer if I had to guess, but there are lots of both. The ranch has the entire creek bottom with great tree stand locations everywhere, and hundreds of big and small hardwood/ cedar draws. You could put out a whole truckload of tree stands and ground blinds, and still feel like you could put up more.

The Firesteel creek flows all year long and hasn't run dry since 2006. The property has several springs and water tanks all over. These will be great tree stand locations. The property has awesome Alfalfa fields on it. These fields are spread out nice up and down the creek. The west Alfalfa fields are up on the high ground, and the North one is in the river bottom. The neighboring property to the west is row crops for 3 miles from North to South. All of the deer that feed in these at night return to the Firesteel to bed every day. This is the best combo of food and cover you could ask for in a ranch.

The thing that set's this ranch apart is the cattle grazing practice. Generally there are no cows on the river bottom or really almost the entire lease until mid-February. Cows are off the property the end of May after calving. The entire ranch grows into a jungle all summer, and cows aren't back till February. This means you have the thickest and best cover around for miles.
